In August 1955  Dr. John Sarno, a general practitioner, Dr. Alexander Friedman, a radiologist, and Dr. Joseph Davis, an internist, noted that most small town medical groups consisted solely of general practitioners or solely of specialists. Why not marry the two types of groups and provide a unique service of a multi-specialty group.  They joined together and formed Mid Hudson Medical Group. Over the years our Group has grown to over 50 Board Certified physicians.

The Mid Hudson Medical Group continues to be the leader in providing quality care to the area. We are dedicated to serving  Dutchess county region with the best medical care and realizing the vision of those three physicians.

What was housed in a historical house has evolved into a state of the art medical complex, with a NYS licensed laboratory and accredited radiology services including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, digital mammography, dexa scans, nuclear scans, 64 slice cardiac CT scan and MRI imaging.

Our new 60,000 square ft. facility, opened in June 2007, allows us to serve our community with more physicians and specialists and an Urgent Care Center, all in one location and one appointment time.
