Did you know that in 2006, it is estimated that paper cups accounted for 252 million pounds of garbage resting in landfills. Paper cup use in 2006 also accounted for 4 billion gallons of water wasted, 6.5 million trees cut down and 4, 884 billion BTU's of energy used. To help the environment we've started to go green here at Mid Hudson Medical Group. To begin we've asked all employees to bring in their own mugs from home and together we can save the ozone! Stay tuned on how we're going green.  |
